A beef stir-fry is a lifesaver on busy evenings. Bursting with flavor and color, this dish brings the sizzle of a wok straight to your plate in under 30 minutes. Ingredients:
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 broccoli crown, cut into florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons water or beef broth

Instructions:
- Toss beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef, stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining oil. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and vegetables for 3–4 minutes.
- Return beef to the pan, add 2 tbsp water or broth, and stir-fry everything for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
